Referencing and EndNote

  • For guidance on how to reference your sources in the Harvard style:

EndNote allows you to collect, store and manage your own collection of references and create bibliographies in your written work:

    • EndNote Web is free, you just need to register for an account. You can then create an online collection or 'Library' of your references, accessible anywhere. You can manually add references into your Library, or transfer them automatically from online library catalogues and databases. You can also store PDFs in your Library
    • Any reference that’s in your EndNote Library can be added into Word (in-text citations and bibliography entry). The reference can be any style you choose – including ‘Brookes Harvard’.

See our EndNote help pages for more information.

You are welcome to contact the Academic Liaison Librarian for Politics and International Relations for 1-to-1 help with referencing and EndNote.
