Brookes email

Once you are fully enrolled, you can set up your Brookes email account from Monday 6 September onwards. You will not be able to access your Gmail account until this date.

At Oxford Brookes, you will be using the services offered by Google G Suite - this includes your Brookes email, your Google Calendar and Google Meet.

Once you have completed online enrolment, you will need to set up your Brookes email account so you can access your Brookes calendar and Google Meet. You will need your username (student number) and the password you used for online enrolment.

Once you have set up your Brookes email, you must use this email for all communications with the University. 

How to set up Brookes email

The preferred browser for accessing your Brookes email, calendar and Google Meet is Chrome. 

  1. Go to the sign-in page for Google Accounts.
  2. In the ‘Email or phone’ box, enter your student number followed by For example, Then click next.
  3. Enter your password (the same password you used for online enrolment).
  4. Follow the instructions on protecting your account.

You can also access these tools on your mobile phone or tablet as Google apps.
