Reading lists

Please find attached a copy of the summer reading list with recommendations from specialisations tutors and module leaders. These will correspond directly with those provided in the programme handbook and module handbooks that will be available when you commence the programme. You are not required to pre-read all of the books listed, however you are encouraged to select those that examine ideas, philosophies or techniques that you may wish to explore in greater detail for your studies.

Summer Reading List.

Additional information

The MArchD in Applied Design in Architecture is a student-led programme, and you can have very different experiences within it, depending on which choices of design studios and design specialisations you select. You might, for example, choose to push the boundaries of digital designing one year and then learn to work in poverty stricken or war torn environments the next.
