When you start your studies, you will be allocated an Academic Adviser from the academic staff in their Department or School. If you are studying a combined honours course, it will be a member of staff from one of your subjects.
You can find the name of your Academic Adviser on your Student Information but not until Induction Week. During your induction, you will be told when you are meeting your Academic Adviser. Make sure you check your Brookes email during Induction Week for any messages from them.
Your Academic Adviser will work with you throughout your programme of study and their role is to complement the academic guidance provided within your programme and, where appropriate, to refer you to other sources of specialist information, advice and guidance.
Important: If you are a research student or professional doctorate student, please see the contact details for your studies. You will not have an Academic Adviser.
