Every year Brookes Union hosts an Arrivals and Welcome event on Saturday on move in weekend. This is the perfect opportunity to head down to campus and find out more about what Freshers' Week is and what's planned for the next few days.

We'll be here with live music, a fair with all the services at the University as well as the opportunity to grab some food and/or drink and meet your fellow students.

Brookes Union is pleased to invite you to our Freshers Moving In Party! We’re kicking the year off by giving our Union Hall a glow up for a Roller Disco! Join us for an evening of roller skating as your Union Hall is transformed into a UV Roller Disco, with a live DJ.

Tickets will be available to purchase at a reduced cost on the Brookes Union website. Skates and safety pads included in the ticket, but you are welcome to bring your own. A selection of snacks provided.

Come along to learn more about reusable cups, sustainable coffee consumption and some great stallholders.

During the fair you will be able to meet environmentally-conscious Minor Figures and have a free coffee made with their delicious oat milk (prizes for those who bring a reusable cup!). Also you will get to meet the Little Fireface Project, a wildlife conservation charity focused on studying and conserving slow and slender lorises. Through working with farmers in Cipaganti, West Java Indonesia, they have been able to bring to you wildlife-certified coffee beans.

Brookes Union will be on hand to give some additional tips, advice and offer students a chance to vote on the new reusable cup we stock in our store!
