Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities within the Department of Psychology, Health and Professional Development are designed to equip health and social care professionals with the skills, knowledge and attributes to excel in current practice. Under our broad portfolio, we offer a number of CPD opportunities ranging from one-day master classes, workshops and short courses, to clinical and non-clinical academic pathways including undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral level study.
Our vision is to ensure all health and social care professionals are educated and developed within an environment of evidence-based practice, clinical competence and inter-professional working, whether you are aiming to develop your skills within a local, national or international context.
Our flexible approach offers opportunities to study with us on a full time or part-time basis, with a view to support busy working professionals in achieving their future career aspirations.
By enrolling on the MSc Health Sciences Open Award, you can combine several CPD courses into a PGCert, PGDip or master's degree, or by enrolling on the BSc Hons Health Sciences Open Award, you can top-up a Diploma of Higher Education to a Bachelor's Degree.
