Leading Productive Meetings Workshop

    Any team leader or staff member required to lead a meeting.

    Overview
    Meetings cost time and money, so it is essential to make sure that when you do have them, they are planned, collaborative, productive spaces with tangible outcomes. This workshop provides tools and techniques for ensuring your meetings are a meaningful use of time.

    Duration
    This is a blended learning course.
    Part 1: Online Learning Module circa 30 minutes.
    Part 2: Two-hour workshop which adopts a meeting format.

  • To equip you with the skills and knowledge to run meetings that are productive and engaging with tangible outcomes

    You will gain a better understanding of: 

    • how to start meetings on a positive note and maintain a positive atmosphere 
    • why asking questions is better than making statements the importance of setting clear goals and objectives
    • how to foster innovation and creativity
    • why thinking beyond the boundaries of the group makes for better and more sustainable decision-making
    • why ending meetings on a positive, future-oriented note encourages a willingness to honour commitments.

    Required: Online Learning Module circa 30 minutes 

    Required: Pre-meeting papers and submissions to be actioned in advance of Part 2 session.
