Oxford Centre for Staff and Learning Development (OCSLD) will be running another ILM Coaching and Mentoring Level 5 Certificate Programme in 2019. This highly successful programme is open to external participants as well as Brookes participants. We will be offering up to 6 places to Brookes staff. For candidates who are looking for an opportunity to join a group of like-minded people to gain a highly sought after practical coaching qualification.

The course content teaches the essential skills for developmental coaching conversations and the benefits of coaching to individuals and organisations. The purpose of coaching is to enable people to learn without teaching by facilitating their thinking. A variety of models are covered, along with an understanding of how individual thoughts, feelings and behaviours are learnt and changed, and how these factors affect the coaching conversation for both the coach and the coachee.
Once you have completed the course, you will receive a Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring.
The qualification consists of 3 units. In brief they consist of:

This course is run in house for Brookes employees, but also open to non-Brookes Staff.
The cost for this course covers all hot and cold refreshments, course materials and your registration with the ILM.

This is an opportunity to experience coaching, which is a conversation in which coach helps you to think about issues or problems which you would like to progress with.
