Managing Individuals and Teams

    People who are new to management and managers who have not received any formal management training.   

    Overview
    As a manager, you have a huge influence on the performance and well-being of your team.  This workshop focuses on the knowledge, tools and techniques you need to support, motivate and develop your team to achieve results.

  • To give you the knowledge, tools and techniques to bring out the best in individuals and teams in order to achieve results.  

    By the end of this session, you will be able to:

    • define how teams work most effectively
    • use a strength-based approach to staff development
    • identify what motivates people at work and what is important to them
    • give appropriate recognition and reward to staff
    • run effective, inclusive meetings 

    Refreshments

    • Tea and coffee will be available.
      (Lunch will be available for full day workshops)
