    Overview
    This session helps you to identify and set effective short and long-term goals for your career, exploring ways to increase the chances of achieving them. The aim of the session is to create a plan to help you move forward, that can in turn be used as a base for PDR conversations or even for individual coaching.

  • To translate your career aspirations into specific goals and help you make a plan to move towards them
    • Identify what constitutes an effective goal both for the long and short term
    • Understand any barriers to your goals and how to overcome them
    • Recognise your motivators and other needs to achieve your goals
    • Create a plan to move towards your goals

    Evaluation

    • Evaluation: your comments are valuable and you will be asked to complete a form at the end of the workshop.
