Recruitment and Selection Workshop

  • Who is it for?
    All members of staff who are either new to Recruitment and Selection or have had limited experience are required to undertake this training before participating in the recruitment of staff at Brookes.

    Due to the recruitment freeze, this workshop has not been scheduled to take place during this semester. Please enter your details on the booking form and we will come back to you with future dates.

  • We pay particular attention to the anti-discrimination legislation and unconscious bias. There will be an opportunity to practice interviewing.

    Participants will receive an up-date on any recent legal changes in particular those changes which relate to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and they will explore the implications of unconscious bias in the recruitment process.

    There is a pre-requisite online module which must be completed at participants' convenience at least two working days prior to attending a one-day intensive workshop. Both the online module and the one day course comprise a lively mix of presentations plus individual and group exercises.
