G is for Goals

  • By setting clear goals, you will be able to start to make the changes you want. You can do this in one of two ways - by:

    • identifying the next step (or steps) to forward your career
    • envisioning your future in, for example, ten year’s time.

When creating your goals, remember to make the SMART – specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound. Also, think about how they will impact on your personal life as well as your career.

    Questions to help you:

    What is your ideal future?

What is a good work environment for you?

What skills and knowledge do you want to continue to use?

What new skills and knowledge do you want to develop?

What skills and knowledge are important at Brookes?

What is your ambition? What are your goals?
