Make sure you book your events on the booking page and bring a copy of your personal itinerary - either printed or on a smartphone. This will be your timetable for the day. Show it to a member of staff to register your attendance and check where you need to go when you arrive.
If you are going to print your itinerary, we recommend you do so no sooner than one week before the open day. This is because the locations for different sessions may change and you need to bring the most up to date version of your itinerary.
After registering for the Open Day you will receive a confirmation email followed by an Open Day guide in the post nearer to the event. This guide will give you a general overview of the day as well as directions to the university including car parking locations. It will also serve as your free bus pass for you and your guests for the day.
We'll also be in touch via email closer to the time with some reminders about making the most of your day.
Headington Campus will be open from 10.00am to 4.00pm and Wheatley Campus will be open from 10.00am to 1.30pm, when visitors can take the free BROOKESbus to Headington Campus to visit the Information Zone and attend pre-booked talks. Harcourt Hill Campus is open for campus tours only from 10.00am to 4.00pm. You can book these tours online.
You are able to create your own itinerary for the day when you book, including any subject talks you would like to attend. Make sure you book your place at any sessions you would like to attend, as they may become fully booked.
You can add events to your itinerary on the booking page. Other events such as accommodation viewings and campus tours of Headington and Wheatley campuses do not need to be booked as they are available throughout the day.
You can find information about travelling to each of our campuses on our travel and parking pages. Oxford is a well connected city by car, train and coach and members of staff will be present at Oxford Railway Station and our recommended carparks across the city to help you get to the campuses you are visiting.
Some of our halls of residence will be open to look round on the day to see where you could call home at Oxford Brookes. You do not have to book to view accommodation in advance, just ask a Student Ambassador or member of staff on the day. You can also visit accommodation team at Headington Campus for advice on choosing halls and to pick up a map of where our open halls are located.
More information can be found on our What's on page.
The city centre is easily accessible from each of our Oxford campuses using the U1 BROOKESbus service. You can ask a member of staff to point you towards the right bus stop and remember to show the driver your Open Day guide for free travel for you and your guests. There's a lot to see and do - try asking a current student for their recommendations if you don't know where to start!
