Open Day is a chance to explore what your life could be like at Oxford Brookes, so make the most of it!

See below for information about what's available on the day, but make sure you ask your own questions, find out what you need to know and create your own experience by planning your personal itinerary.

  • There will be a huge range of subject sessions on offer. These will give you the chance to hear more about the subjects you are interested in from lecturers, students and support staff. To book a place on your subject session, please log on to the booking website.

Our halls of residence will be open for viewing across all campuses on Open Day so you can get an idea of where you could call home at Oxford Brookes. At Headington Campus, you can explore Cheney Student Village, at Wheatley Campus you can see Lady Spencer Churchill Hall, and at Harcourt Hill Campus Westminster Hall will be open. Just ask a member of staff or student helper for directions when you arrive. Please note, Harcourt Hill Campus is only open for campus and accommodation tours, and these can be booked online and added to your itinerary.

If you have specific questions about accommodation, you can speak to the Accommodation Bureau who are located in the Forum at Headington Campus. For more information, check out our Accommodation pages.

Tours of all three campuses are available on the day with one of our friendly student ambassadors. They'll show you the top sights and tell you useful information about the university, as well as a bit about their experiences of student life at Oxford Brookes.

To join a tour of Headington Campus, speak to the students at the Enquiry Centre near the main reception. Tours of Wheatley Campus leave from the Food Court lobby. You can book a tour of Harcourt Hill Campus for a specific time online, and these tours leave from the Student Union Bar. You can ask a member of staff or a student helper to point you in the right direction if you would like to join a tour.

Staff from our Admissions Team will be available to talk about offers and clarify details about the required qualifications for your course. At Headington Campus, you can find them in the Forum in the John Henry Brookes Building. At Wheatley Campus, you can find information at the Info Desk before coming to meet the team at Headington Campus.

Presentations about student life at Oxford Brookes will be given by our student ambassadors throughout the day. These presentations cover aspects of student life such as living in accommodation, the Students' Union, social life, sport and societies. They're a great chance to explore how you could live your life at Oxford Brookes.

Booking is essential and can be completed through the booking website.

Learn more about our study abroad and exchanges programs at Brookes, either by booking a place on one of the talks at Headington Campus, or by visiting the team in the Infozone in the Forum.

Visit our Brookes Sport team who will have a stand in the Infozone in the Forum (John Henry Brookes Building, Headington Campus). They'll be able to show you why Brookes enjoys such an excellent reputation for its sport. They will also be giving a talk on the kinds of sports you can get involved in as a Brookes student, whether competitively or just for fun. Make sure you book your place at this talk on the booking website.

You can also look at the sports facilities on all three campuses - join a campus tour or ask a staff member or student helper for directions.

Student Ambassadors will be available throughout open day - they can point you in the right direction, answer any questions you might have, or just have a chat about life at Oxford Brookes. There will also be student volunteers from various courses that you can talk to about the subject you're interested in. They're all here to help, so make the most of it!
Our library at Headington Campus will be open on Open Day for you to explore. Just ask a member of staff or one of our students for directions on the day.
The Careers Team will be in the Forum on Headington Campus ready to answer your questions and tell you all about the support we offer our students. Oxford Brookes helps you boost your career prospects while at university and beyond. Academic staff in the subject drop-in areas will also be able to give you information about the kinds of careers your degree could lead to, and the work placement opportunities for different courses.

As well as holding subject sessions, staff and students from all subject areas will be available to talk to you in depth about the course you hold an offer for.
