  • Clinical Practice at OSN+M

Clinical practice is a vital strand of our partnership.

Practice education is critical to the current provision and future development of health and social care professional education courses.

Practice placements are provided by the NHS, Social Care and Social Services, the private, independent and voluntary sector. All placement experience is quality assured through approved processes. Placements are dependent upon the funding sponsor, professional/programme requirements, student progression regulations and placement quality and capacity.

Our Practice Education Unit provides administrative and academic support for placement learning/practice education for all pre-qualifying courses.

OSN+M staff are mentors, coaches and leaders. As well as helping students to achieve their potential, they are also constantly working to develop their own skills.

Our combined portfolio of Continued Professional Development spans day-long workshops all the way up to master's degrees and doctorates.

The quality of the teaching and resources has been excellent. The tutors have been inspiring to listen to and learn from. Their knowledge and experience has made for a stimulating and exciting learning environment. The Oxford Brookes programme is extremely well organised, and is facilitated by an excellent and supportive teaching and supervisory team.
