Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery

Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery

  • The Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery is a unique initiative within the UK. It combines education, clinical practice and research across the nursing, midwifery and allied health professions.

The school comprises Oxford Brookes University, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, under the umbrella of the Oxford Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC.) Working together, these partners are combining their expertise to transform nursing in Oxfordshire.

    Students will benefit from:

    • A curriculum that is sculpted by experience of educators, NHS Trusts and the best research. An education that is always ahead of the curve.
    • A smooth route from education into work, with support from the University and local Trusts. From placements, to mentorship and guidance once in work, the School offers more than a degree, it helps you take your first steps in your career.
    • The best possible Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Together, we are combining our efforts in order to provide the best CPD to allow nurses in Oxford to flourish.

As part of the Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery, students don’t simply study. They become part of a community of healthcare professionals.
