Presenting at a scientific meeting is an essential component of being a successful researcher. However, the presentation time is usually strictly limited and the audience can be daunting. This OxINMAHR talk addresses the key components of a successful conference presentation so that researchers can be confident that they are presenting their work with maximum impact. The talk will cover areas such as preparation, use of visual aids, communicating with your audience and things to avoid!!!

Paul Carding has been a keynote speaker at over 40 international conferences. He has also had over 20 years of experience as the voice consultant to the Royal Shakespeare Company. Paul has run numerous workshops and study days on presentation skills for many organizations including The Royal College of Surgeons (UK) and The British Medical Association (UK).
