Role

The Head of Department role in Sport, Health Sciences and Social Work  (SHSSW) by defintion provides leadership and management of the Department through implementation of the Faculty and the University’s strategies. 

The Department of Sport, Health Sciences and Social work has had numnerous iterations. Previously the department of Sport and Health Sciences, as a consequence of a faculty restructure in 2017, The Social Work programmes became an integral part of the department and the department became The Department of Sport, Health Sciences and Social Work.
