Role
Elaine is currently an associate researcher working on two research projects, one in health and social care, and the other in international entrepreneurship. In addition to these studies, she is a learning technologist in the NHS redesigning clinical training programmes for the blended and hybrid learning environment.
Elaine has extensive managerial and development experience in health and social care, and in further and higher education. She has established several IT training centres for people with severe mental illness to obtain an industry-recognised IT qualification. In addition, she has designed wellbeing programmes for adults, including prisoners and prison staff, to develop their physical, mental and spiritual health. Elaine has a long standing interest in wellbeing, particularly the spiritual aspect of care; the subject of her Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD).

Associate Researcher for an internally funded Healthy Ageing and Care (HAC) project, and an Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) externally funded project.

Elaine is an internal consultant within the NHS working with psychology lecturers on a variety of bespoke training initiatives aligned to the trusts digital strategy in relation to education.
