As former Director of the OSNM, I had responsibility for the strategic direction of the partnership between Oxford Brookes University, Oxford University Hospital Foundation Trust and Oxford Health Foundation Trust. The partnership offers unique opportunities in education and research for nurses at all levels and it is my responsibility to optimise these under the direction of the OSNM Board and the Oxford Health Partnership.

Research

I am the Principal Investigator on the COV-ed Nurse study which is a UK wide investigation into the extent to which nurse education prior to the pandemic prepared nurses for their role in COVID; it is an analysis of what works.

As my professional background is in health visiting I am also involved in research into fathers' transition to parenthood and the effectiveness of parenting support for vulnerable families.
