Role

Melissa is a senior advisor, speaker, lecturer and thought leader focussing on organisational strategy, policy and decision making in a context of complexity and uncertainty - scenario planning, risk management and future-proofing. She has particular interest in the role of business and policy in shaping the future of society in the digital age.

She brings a track record of over 26 years of strategy consulting and intellectual leadership with global organisations like the Economist Intelligence Unit and McKinsey & Company as well as two entrepreneurial ventures. She has held Senior Management/Executive Director roles for over 13 years.

Her work has served clients in Asia, India, Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America from business, professional service firms, public sector and non-profit organisations. She covers a wide range of industries including financial services, mining, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, various governments, Foundations and United Nations agencies.

She has taught and presented at multiple leadership and industry events and competitions. Melissa has also published a wide range of thought leadership reports and has a passion for communicating with purpose, simplifying complex topics and delivering results. She has a PhD from Oxford University and a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto.
