Role
I am a Senior Lecturer currently working as the Deputy Programme lead for the Hong Kong Flying Faculty, within which I take a lead for the BSc Health Care Studies (Nursing) programme. I have taught in Hong Kong since 2013 and became deputy programme Lead for Hong Kong in September 2017.
I am also the Subject Expert for our BSc Nursing (Top up award) run as a franchise in Sri Lanka with BCAS.
By background I am a Registered General Nurse and also completed Cardio-Thoracic specialist training at the Royal Brompton hospitals group, London. I have worked with patients experiencing cardiac or respiratory illness and disease for many years and in a variety of clinical settings including; Critical / Intensive care units, acute surgical cardio-thoracic units and chronic respiratory medical units.
