Pop-up Poetry

Twenty-three different poets, nine different venues: the first ever Poetry Centre pop-up event is taking place on Thursday 2 October for National Poetry Day. The brainchild of Dr Andrea Macrae, the free pop-up events will be occurring across the University campuses: from Wheatley to Gipsy Lane to Harcourt Hill, and across the city too, and will feature readings by students, staff, and other Oxford-based poets. Each pop-up lasts no more than twenty minutes, and each poet reads for four to five minutes, introducing audiences to their work.

We look forward to seeing you at one (or more) of the venues!
