  • 10 Week Cookery

    This 10 week cookery course is every Wednesday evening from 8 May, starting at 6.15pm until 9.30pm.

    Please note the session on Wednesday 5 June will run on Thursday 6 June.

    This course is suitable for enthusiastic amateurs who are looking to further their skills and gain knowledge from the professionals. By the end of the 10 weeks you will have learnt a variety of skills and will have gained confidence in the kitchen.

    You will be taught by the tutors that train our Oxford School of Hospitality students, on a day to day basis, for Brookes Restaurant, so you will be in good hands! For the final week we will be hosting a Gala Dinner which will involve working alongside the professionals, friends and family welcome.

    Indian Journey

    Follow our course lead, Kashmira’s, extended trip journey travelling West to East of India. You can follow her journey on Instagram ‘Kashmiras Kitchen’.

    On the course there will be 2 demos plus hands on of 2 starters and 2 mains. Dishes you will be cooking will be decided and developed as her travels progress through India.

    We’re sure she will tell you about her trip, the food, the culture and have plenty of photos for you to see.

    French Kitchen

    This course will magic you into the warmth of the South of France, meandering through the streets of old Nice and exploring the fabulous markets of fresh vegetables, fish and fruit that make us foodies so excited!

    This French course will be featuring recipes from Provence and Niçois cuisine. Brookes Restaurant chef Victoria Buob-Aldorf has lived and worked as a Chef in France. She will be sharing her experiences of French food, revealing exactly why this country is so famous for its cuisine.

    Plenty of hands on and demonstrations, may include fougasse bread, pasta, fresh salads, tarte tatin and other authentic dishes.
