  • Festive bread

    This course will be presented by Amanda and Jan and will cover a range of breads including stollen, chalka/challah, as well as more rustic bread to accompany your cheese board.

    Our chef, Victoria is regularly complimented on the vegetarian options she selects for the menu here at Oxford Brookes and in this course she will teach you how to create many of them!

    Knife Skills

    On this course you will learn what knifes are best suited to a particular job, how to handle and maintain them and use them with confidence.

    You will be taught how to sharpen and cut accurately. The course will focus on vegetable, fruit and fish preparation.

    The day will start with coffee and pastries with a short talk from Eva. You will then have a hands on opportunity to try the various delights working alongside Eva and Donatelle.

    Classic Bread

    This course is a firm favourite of the chefs with attendees being amazed at what they produce and take home.

    Be prepared to roll your sleeves up as this course is very hands on. You will be making the doughs by hand using top quality flour and grains from our local mill (Wessex Mill).
