Film Studies Reader Dr Warren Buckland was recently involved in a short course at Masaryk University in Kamenice, Czech Republic, lecturing on one of his main research specialisms: Film Style and Aesthetics.
Audiograft is a festival of experimental music and sound art curated by the Sonic Art Research Unit (SARU), promoted in collaboration with Oxford Contemporary Music.
Dr Daniela Treveri Gennari, Programme Lead for Film Studies at Oxford Brookes, has received the prestigious AHRC award and a £690,000 funding contribution for her ‘Lost Audiences’ research project.
Artist and lecturer Ray Lee was a winner at the prestigious 2012 British Composer Awards this week (3 December). Ray's work The Ethometric Museum won the Sonic Art category at the awards run by the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA).
