The second Writing for Journals workshop welcomes all academics keen to reflect upon and improve their own approaches to getting their research published.
This session takes ideas developed in the first workshop one step further by using a variety of approaches. These include:

  • exploring in detail the requirements and standards of specific journals in education and other disciplines
  • identification of target journals
  • critical reading of: (a) articles ‘ready’ for submission and (b) referees’ comments on articles accepted and rejected
  • acting as referee for papers already refereed by the session leader

The first workshop generated a high level of enthusiasm and we would like to keep that momentum going!  Whatever state and stage your own writing is in, come and share ideas for writing better articles.
