Sara HillSara Hill is the founder and managing director of Capability Jane, a company that helps organisations increase the number of women in senior roles through targeted gender diversity programmes and flexible working job design and implementation.

Founded in 2007, Capability Jane supports organisations with the implementation of ‘genuine’ and ‘realistic’ flexible working practices in fast-paced global marketplaces. September 2010 saw the launch of a pioneering research programme demonstrating the feasibility of job sharing in senior leadership and client facing positions within professional services firms. Participants include Deloittes, KPMG, Freshfields & Herbert Smith with findings to be launched in Autumn of 2011.

Capability Jane has the largest network of mid to senior women in the UK and the team pride themselves on their ability to successfully develop female friendly value propositions and source female talent. Capability Jane’s current projects include: recruitment campaign to increase number of women to 30% of shortlists; employee value proposition development for female attraction campaign; and talent pooling female candidates for future succession planning.

Before founding Capability Jane, Sara worked for many years within professional services with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and subsequently Stratevolve a Boutique Strategy House. In industry, Sara held senior director positions in Marketing and Business Development both in the UK and the US. Sara's personal passion lies in helping professional women return to work after a career break and evaluating flexible working options and through Capability Jane runs a number of programmes to support women through this transition. Sara lives in Hampshire with her husband and 2 children.
