Staff who need to change hours

If it is appropriate the Occupational Health Nurse may adjust a member of staff’s hours with advice from her GP/Midwife. Alteration to the member of staff’s hours are not contractual and are temporary for the term of the pregnancy. The member of staff’s employment rights remain unchanged.

If a member of staff, during her final four weeks before the Expected Week of Childbirth, falls ill with a pregnancy related illness, her maternity pay and leave will commence on the first day of illness.
