Research

  • initiation or effective leadership of research programmes
  • Identifying sources of and securing research funding
  • developing high level research skills

  • developing contacts with external bodies

Administration

  • quality management
  • course management
  • recruitment of students
  • improving the department, e.g. contribution in committees, etc.
