Pebblepad, PDP and international students

The aim of this session is to discuss and evaluate issues that arose during a programme to develop postgraduate international students’ reflective skills in their Personal Development Planning.  Pebbelepad was used to enable a cohort of Masters students to create online documents to record learning aspirations and achievement.  Students developed an action plan early on in the course and a final webfolio, both including detailed reflective components. The session will discuss student perceptions of the course and the benefits of using Pebblepad to develop reflective practice.  Also of interest is how to encourage international students to break out of their familiar and comfortable cultural groups to work in cross-cultural groups.
