Drowning in a sea of information?  How academic staff can work with Subject Librarians to help undergraduates develop critical and evaluative research skills.

We cannot assume that because information is available on the Internet, people have the skills and knowledge to find and use it effectively.  There is a wealth of information available online, but not everything!  We will discuss the information research skills needed to equip students to find, use and critically evaluate a range of resources for their studies.  Find out ways in which Subject Librarians can work with their academics to enable undergraduates develop these research skills – such as embedding information skills sessions into courses, Brookes Virtual tutorials or demonstration of a database within a lecture.
