Practice education is critical to the current provision and future development of health and social care professional education courses.
Placements are provided by the NHS, Social Care and Social Services, the private, independent and voluntary sector and within osteopathic clinics provided by the School. All placement experience is quality assured through approved processes. Placements are dependent upon the funding sponsor, professional/programme requirements, student progression regulations and placement quality and capacity.
Our Practice Education Unit provides administrative and academic support for placement learning/practice education for all pre-qualifying courses.
