  • As part of our commitment to providing an excellent experience for students, we are currently refurbishing the Sinclair building, with support from the Higher Education Funding Council England (HEFCE). This includes re-cladding the outside of the building to give it a modern look and make it more efficient to run.

The Nutrition group will be moving to refurbished facilities on the third floor of the Sinclair building in early 2018.  These new facilities will include a professional standard teaching kitchen, academic offices and research areas, including sensory booths, BodPod and indirect calorimetry.

In addition, on the newly refurbished second floor of the Sinclair building we now have a modern 100-seat teaching lab, student orientated spaces and further teaching areas that will be used for nutrition lab teaching sessions.
