BSc (Hons) Food Science with Business, PGDip Applied Sports Nutrition, PhD Food and Nutritional Sciences

I receved my BSc (Hons) in Food Science and tThe University of Reading and went ont to complete my PhD in Nutrition Sciences at the same university. My Thesis title was investigating the low molecular weight compounds produced in the human gut during fermentation of different protein sources.
I follwed this with a postdoctoral position investigating the effects of probiotics in gut and immune function in older people and completing a PGDip in Applied sports nutrition.
I then spend 5 years in various roles within the food industry including food quality and safety (Food Technologist) and a more research based role as a food scientist.
