    Johnny Collett

    Johnny’s research primarily involves rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions, including trials of exercise intervention. Trials delivered include conditions such as MS, PD and HD.  Projects have evaluated both factors effecting (neuro) physiological response, process and delivery of exercise.  His work also includes the measurement and impact of impairments (focusing on mobility and fatigue) on participation in those with disability, and optimising movement and enabling participation in physical activity.

     He has an interest in the design, conduct and reporting of research and is the research group‘s good clinical practice (GCP) officer, providing training for the faculty.  His teaching also includes leading the Research methods and Exercise for longterm neurological condition modules on the MSc in rehabilitation.
