As a Faculty we are very proud of our diverse research student community, comprising 131 PhD students, 2 MPhil students, 8 masters by research students, 2 PhD by published works and 27 students on our Professional Doctorate in Nursing.
While all eyes will be on Oxford and Cambridge Universities this weekend for the annual Boat Race, we’re pleased to report that Oxford Brookes have also been doing their part to make this a special race.
It is with great pleasure that Oxford Brookes can announce that, after much hard work and combined effort, our Sport & Exercise Science and Sport, Coaching & Physical Education programmes now offer students the option to achieve level 2 (fitness instructor) and level 3 (personal trainer) qualifications, accredited by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).

Dr Astrid Schloerscheidt has been appointed as the new Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Oxford Brookes University and takes on the role from 30 May 2017.
