  • Sustainability

At Oxford Brookes we are committed to supporting environmental sustainability. Staff involvement is key to making this happen.

  • Sustainability training

Every staff member at Brookes receives sustainability training, in the first few months of starting, as part of their induction programme.

This training provides an overview of the areas covered by our environmental management system ISO 14001: energy and carbon, water, waste, biodiversity, transport, food and procurement.

  • Get involved

We provide a “living laboratory” for implementing sustainability initiatives. This provides a wealth of real-life case studies that can be introduced and discussed in the classroom. It also provides opportunities for staff and students to propose their own sustainability initiatives.

Please visit our sustainability web pages to read all about sustainability at Brookes and how you can get involved.
