    All subjects within the University have a unique subject code. For Sociology, they are as follows:

    SO SO is combined honours Sociology i.e. students are combining Sociology with another subject. Students will be studying for a BA or BSc dependent on their second subject.
    XO XO is single honours Sociology i.e. students study only Sociology. Students will be studying for a BA.
