The Centre for Global Politics, Economy and Society (GPES) recently held a book launch featuring a range of new and challenging work from seven members of the inter-disciplinary body.

An annual MA International Relations (all pathways) Fee Waiver Scholarship is available to an international student with suitable academic credentials. This will cover 100% of the tuition fees(£13,620) and is open to international students intending to start their course in September 2016.
Dr Tamsin Barber, senior lecturer in Sociology, has been successful in receiving a grant from the British Academy for her project: Becoming East Asian: Race, Ethnicity and Youth Politics of Belonging in Superdiverse Britain (with Dr.
Diana Yeh, City University, London).
Dr Rico Isaacs, Senior Lecturer for the Department of Social Sciences has been granted part of a €3.81M funding award from the EU’s prestigious 2020 Horizon project.
