I have an undergraduate degree from Oxford Brookes in Environmental Sciences and I decided to stay on to take the MSc in Primate Conservation. I am planning a future career working with primates and I would like to be involved in the management of wild life reserves in Brazil, my home country.

Staff on the course were very helpful and I really appreciated their patience, knowledge and also their respect for student contributions. Students on the Brookes MSc have access to the very latest materials and research and the lectures were brilliant. I also really enjoyed the field trips to Apenheul Primate Park in the Netherlands and to Bristol Zoo here in the UK where we learned about caring for primates in captivity.

As an international student you should make sure your English is good and that you have enough funding, as life in Oxford can be quite expensive – but it’s a great city and everything you need is on your doorstep.
