Public art exhibition 8-15th August

Monday, 12 August 2013

We are currently working with professional artists and students to develop creative installations to complement the new building and its landscape.

Download by Andrew Small is expected to be installed on the Piazza at the end of 2013

Excitement is growing around our Headington Campus as the John Henry Brookes Building progresses on site. As well as bringing together many of our essential services under one roof, we want the redevelopment to provide an inspirational space in which to think, learn and study.

Come and have a look at the proposals during a special viewing on Thursday 8 August between 5pm and 7.30pm, where members of staff will be on hand to discuss the concepts. Alternatively, the exhibition will remain open to the public until Thursday 15 August, but may not be staffed fully during this time.

The exhibition will feature selected artists, a description of their previous work and some proposed concepts. Also on display, will be two student pieces which are currently being researched and developed in a collaboration project with our building consultants.
