Transformation of Sinclair continues as new first floor opens
Monday, 04 September 2017
Today (Monday 4 September) has seen the successful handover of more brand new teaching and research labs to the University.
The new first floor will continue the transformation of health and life science activity at the Headington Campus.
It forms the final part of the first phase of the Sinclair refurbishment, which has seen the building’s
become modern teaching and research spaces.
Teaching will begin in the new spaces in Semester 1, on Monday 25 September.
The next phase will see the building’s remaining ground, third and fourth floors transformed one-by-one and is expected to commence later this year.
The Sinclair refurbishment is part of the University’s £220 million, ten-year estate investment programme, which sees significant investment in both Headington and Harcourt Hill campuses.
