eCSIS is the University’s electronic course and student information system and PIP is its web-based interface.
Staff who require access to student or applicant information in order to fulfil their role at the University, for example, course administrators or admissions tutors can have access to eCSIS or PIP. Most staff find that PIP meets their needs, however, for staff in certain roles, such as Postgraduate Administrators who need to maintain student programmes, eCSIS access is required. Regular training is available for both eCSIS and PIP. The Course and Student Administration Team can also be contacted at any time should you require any further assistance.
Once you have been granted access to PIP and/or eCSIS, a member of staff from Student Central will contact you to organise training. You will need to attend training in order to understand how to use the software. You are also welcome to come along to any of the courses if you feel that you need a refresher.
PIP and eCSIS training sessions are held on Thursday afternoons from 2.30pm and generally last until about 4.00pm. A member of staff from Student Central will contact you to organise training
