This Post-AUA Conference event, sponsored by the University of Portsmouth, will welcome members from the South region as we continue our focus on the 2017 Conference theme of ‘Transformation’. We will explore the opportunities and challenges which may lie ahead and how the HE sector can develop the skills and knowledge to respond. The event will include a presentation by Stephen Wiggins, Academic Registrar at the University of Portsmouth, who will give an overview of a critical major change project ‘Registry Transform’ which commenced in 2015 and will support the University of Portsmouth in achieving the 2020 University strategy.You will hear from AUA members at the University of Portsmouth, who will share their experiences and highlights of the 2017 Annual Conference. And on top of that you will be able to participate in a practical workshop on Building Resilience facilitated by Spirit Resilience training.
If you are arriving by train, the nearest station is Portsmouth and Southsea, which is a 5 minute walk from the venue. If you are driving to the event, the nearest car park is the NCP Isambard Brunel Multi-storey car park (PO1 2BX) which can be accessed via the entrance in Alec Rose Lane. Please note that there will be a charge for parking.
