• Special Interest Groups

Through Special Interest Groups (SIGs) we seek to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experience and good practice in specific areas of professional activity in higher education. By bringing together experts and those with a general interest in a particular area individuals can grow their knowledge, we can collectively foster a spirit of professional enquiry, and develop the specialists experts of the future.

Many AUA SIGs have connections with Academic Registrar Council (ARC) Practitioner Groups or other professional networks, thereby optimising the benefit to AUA members. The SIGs also complement a range of branch and regional networks across the Association, all of which are making an increasing contribution to our activities. Themed events, specialist publications and input to generic AUA activity are all supported by SIGs and other networks.

A list of the AUA SIGs is available via the link on the right hand side.
