  • Our purpose

    If you want to know about any project, advice on getting started, or need help with change work - start with us and we’ll either help directly or point you in the right direction.

    The Strategic Change & Projects Governance Team is part of the Strategic Change and Planning Directorate. The team was formed at the beginning of 2018 to provide oversight, control and support to the many change projects and programmes within Brookes.

    We support the Strategic Change Board in delivering their delegated responsibilities from the Vice Chancellors Group:

    • to provide strategic oversight and leadership of major aspects of change across the University, and
    • to ensure that appropriate decisions are made regarding prioritisation, assurance, planning and strategic risk.

    Working closely with the ITS Project Management Office, the team works with faculties and directorates from the early stages of project initiation through to benefits realisation and transition to a steady state.

    Once we have demonstrated good progress in project, programme and portfolio management at the University we will extend our remit to support process reviews and continuous improvement activity, in support of the Universities priorities.
