  • Asylum Welcome

Asylum Welcome exists for people fleeing persecution and danger in their own countries, who seek refuge in Oxford and Oxfordshire. Our volunteers, members, donors and staff, of various faiths and politics, share values based on a common humanity and social justice. Our work is to reduce poverty, suffering and social isolation and to enable asylum seekers and refugees to live with the respect and dignity to which they are entitled.

    Lattitude

Lattitude Global Volunteering is a youth development charity that believes everybody should have the opportunity to experience a volunteer placement abroad. Since 1972 we have been sending young people on unique, structured and rewarding programmes that are designed to get the most out of the volunteer by developing skills, confidence and independence whilst making a real and lasting difference to their host community. Our programmes allow a complete immersion in the culture, encouraging a positive and productive relationship between the volunteer and the host, to the maximum benefit of both. Volunteering with Lattitude is exciting, challenging and deeply rewarding.

    ICYE Volunteering Abroad

ICYE UK is an ethical volunteering charity which sends volunteers throughout Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe and also hosts international volunteers here in the UK. We have either short term placements (3 weeks to 16 weeks) or longer term placements (6 months or 12 months) and our aim is to enable a true cultural immersion, by arranging accommodation with local host families through our local partners and even language lessons. Our wonderful volunteers support a range of local NGOs including human and women’s rights projects, HIV and AIDS awareness projects, education and teaching, environmental conservation, supporting street children and much more.
