Welcome to Brookes we hope you enjoy your new role. Our Career Consultants are available to work with you, from day one, to support student employability and career transition. This can include:
We are happy to offer you a personal briefing on our comprehensive careers and employability resources and the tailored support we offer. Please contact your Faculty Link Career Consultant to arrange this, via firstname.lastname@example.org, or telephone 01865 484670.
‘What’s On’ programme: highlights career events and workshops organised for students as part of Careers centrally run provision
Online Resources portal: as an academic member of staff you have full access to this comprehensive careers information resource. To access the portal, login using your PIP staff details via the Careers website homepage
Employability timeline: gives a quick overview of the sort of resources and activities that both ‘under’ and ‘post’ graduate students should think about engaging with, to enhance their employability, alongside their studies at Brookes.
Students – access to Careers advice. We encourage students based in Oxford to meet with us for face-to-face meetings where at all possible (they do not have to have clear ideas on their future direction to do so). Please see our opening times. Students based away from Oxford may arrange telephone or Skype appointments.
What can students expect from a discussion with a Careers Consultant?
All students can make initial enquiries on campus, via email@example.com or telephone 01865 484670
Please read our Statement of Service for full details on our service. We encourage all students to engage with us from early in their programmes.
Our service is also available for undergraduates and postgraduates for up to three years after course completion.
