Meditation

Meditation is a practice that supports the whole self - mind, body, and spirit. Regular meditation can help you to regulate your emotions and feel calmer to face the ups and downs of life.

Weekly guided breathing meditation is offered on the Headington Campus during semester time, with a few additional sessions in semester breaks or by request.

Guided meditation

Wednesdays 12:00pm, Garden Room, Buckley Building, Headington Campus

A lightly-guided breathing meditation to help you to take time out of your busy week of work or study and connect with yourself. We usually spend around 20 minutes in meditation. No need to book - just turn up!

Resources for meditation

  • The Brookes Counselling Service website includes relaxation exercises that are free to download and use.
  • We regularly use resources from franticworld.com, which has excellent free meditations.
