Visa Enrolment and BRP Collection

  • If you need any sort of visa or immigration status to study in the UK and we don't have a copy of it, you will need to do visa enrolment before you are fully enrolled on your course. You must complete online enrolment by FRIDAY 5 FEBRUARY 2021 or you will lose access to the University computer systems.

    Do I need to do visa enrolment?

    • Yes, if you get a message saying that your enrolment is “pending a visa check” once you’ve done academic and financial enrolment.
    • No, if you’ve completed online enrolment and your Student Information shows you are fully enrolled (go to the Record and Results page to check).

    I am inside the UK and need to do visa enrolment and:

  • If you applied for your visa outside the UK, please email isct@brookes.ac.uk with a copy of your visa decision letter and your stamped vignette (visa sticker in your passport).

    If you applied for your visa inside the UK please email isct@brookes.ac.uk with a copy of your visa decision letter. You will also need to send a copy of your BRP unless the University has received it.

    If you applied for your visa inside the UK and are waiting for your visa decision, please email isct@brookes.ac.uk with evidence you have made your visa application ontime.

    If you have already applied for the EU settlement scheme, please email isct@brookes.ac.uk with the share code which allows us to view your pre-settled/settled status and your date of birth. To get the share code follow the instructions here.

    If you haven’t applied but you plan to. Please email isct@brookes.ac.uk to say that you plan to apply to the EU settlement scheme and you arrived in the UK on or before 31st December 2020.

    Please email isct@brookes.ac.uk with a copy of the stamp in your passport. If you didn't receive a stamp, please forward your travel booking which showed when you arrived in the UK.
    Please email isct@brookes.ac.uk with a copy of your visa, BRP or vignette (visa sticker in your passport).
  • I am outside the UK and need to do visa enrolment

    You must complete academic and financial enrolment before sending any documents.

  • To complete visa enrolment
    Please email isct@brookes.ac.uk to say you will not need a visa this semester as you will be studying online to complete visa enrolment.

    Please contact isat@brookes.ac.uk when you do want to apply for a visa to come to the UK

    To complete visa enrolment
    Please email isct@brookes.ac.uk with evidence of your visa application.

    When your visa is granted, we also need your vignette (visa sticker in your passport) and decision letter. When you arrive in the UK, please email a copy of your stamped vignette and BRP unless you are receiving it from Brookes. If your visa application is refused later and we cannot issue a new CAS for you, you will have to withdraw from your place at Brookes.

    To complete visa enrolment

    When you arrive in the UK, please email a isct@brookes.ac.uk with copy of your stamped vignette and your BRP (unless you are receiving it from the University).

    BRP Collection

    Your UKVI decision letter will tell you where to collect your BRP from. It may be a post office or Oxford Brookes.

    Post Office
    Check the address of the post office and the date it will be available from. When you go, take your passport and decision letter. If you are self isolating (quarantine), only collect your BRP once you have finished your quarantine period.

    Oxford Brookes
    We will send your BRP by secure delivery and you will need to sign for it. You must do the following:

    • Send isct@brookes.ac.uk a copy of your stamped vignette and visa decision letter.
    • Fill out this short google form to tell us where you want the BRP posted to.

    Please note BRPs will only be sent out once we have received them from the UKVI and once you have completed your quarantine if you need to. Due to the lockdown, it can take up to 10 working days for us to send these out.
